Canada Day Coast to Coast Celebration at the Haviland

This Canada Day, join us at 10am for a delightful local food brunch experience featuring delicious breakfast casseroles, and all the fixings including our island’s own Lady Baker's Tea and Receiver coffee. Be entertained and engaged in a Fireside Chat on the history of The Haviland around confederation and "places I've lived and traveled in Canada". After brunch, join us on our Coast to Coast Stroll led by our provincial/territories flag bearers as we head to Victoria Park for the opening ceremonies. Enjoy a day filled with activities including house tours, lawn games, a BBQ starting at 4pm featuring Canadian music. Proceeds support the restoration and preservation of our historic house that serves the community.
