COMMUNITY FRAUD AWARENESS WORKSHOP ~ MONTAGUE

This is an opportunity to become fraud-aware and protect your friends and family members who might be at risk. Here are five reasons to consider joining this workshop: 1. If you are online or have a phone, this is one event you must add to your calendar. 2. Although fraudsters love to target our beloved seniors with a wide range of scams, they are equally happy to target just about anyone in your family or circle of friends, including our youth. Specific to our youth, they are far too often targeted by one of the world's most horrendous frauds/cybercrimes: the sextortion scam. 3. The brutal impact of these crimes often goes beyond just a financial loss for the victims. 4. The bad news is that fraud is out of control in our country. 5. The good news is that fraud is preventable via awareness, even more so if you are willing to share what you have learned.
