Wednesday is when the Transportation Safety Board of Canada says it will release the report from its investigation into the fire three years ago onboard the M-V Holiday Island ferry in the Northumberland Strait.
About 230 people were evacuated from the ferry after a fire broke out in its engine room on July 22nd, 2022.
The 50-year-old vessel was later declared to be damaged beyond repair.
The safety board says it will release its report on Wednesday, and launch a national investigation into marine vessel fires.
