Two women from Stratford are dead after a crash in Shediac

Two people from Stratford, a 71-year-old woman and 73-year-old woman, both from Stratford, have died after a single-vehicle crash in Shediac, New Brunswick.  It happened shortly before 1:00pm on Thursday on Highway 15 in Shediac. Police say the two women were passengers in the vehicle, and they died at the scene as a result of their injuries. The driver was taken to hospital with what are believed to be serious, life-threatening injuries. The RCMP says one of its Collision Reconstructionists attended the scene and the investigation is continuing.
