There’s live harness racing today at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park. First race post time is 4 P.M. for the 12-dash program.
Governor’s Plate Week racing kicks off Sunday afternoon at Red Shores at the Summerside Raceway. The Sunday card has 12-dashes starting at 1 P.M., with a pair of dashes to decide the field for next Saturday’s 57th edition of the $50,000 Governor’s Plate, presented by Summerside Chrysler Dodge. Race 8 is the first $9,000 Governor’s Plate Elimination, and the second Elimination will be in Race 12. The top four finishers from each race advance to the Governor’s Plate Final.
