The Toronto Blue Jays are red hot.  They won for the seventh straight game, beating the Angels 4-3 in 11 innings.  Boston beat Washington 10-3.  The Mets outslugged the Yankees 12-6.

In the New Brunswick Senior Baseball League, the Charlottetown Islanders split a doubleheader on Saturday with Saint John.  The Islanders won the first game 3-nothing, and Saint John won the second game 3-1.  The two teams battle again today with two games in Saint John.

Save America and driver Ken Murphy won the Preferred Pace on Saturday at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park. The winning time was 1:51.0  Live racing continues Tuesday night at 6:00pm at Red Shores at the Summerside Raceway.

In the Canadian Football League, the Lions beat Montreal 21-20.
