Summerside woman faces a Flight from Police charge

An 18-year old Summerside area woman was arrested by Summerside Police early Tuesday morning in connection with an incident of flight from police.  At about 2:30 AM, police attempted a traffic stop in the Water Street East area, but the driver sped off.  Officers, who recognized the vehicle, did not pursue.  Instead, they went to the home of the vehicle owner and located the vehicle with two people still inside.  Both were arrested and police say they were able to identify which one was the driver.  She is facing a court date to answer to a charge of Flight from Police.
