Drug and weapons bust in Charlottetown

A drug and weapons bust in Charlottetown.  Last Thursday night, the Charlottetown Police Services Street Crime Unit, with the help of the Tactical Response Unit, searched a home in Charlottetown .  That search saw police seize over 36 grams of crystal methamphetamine, one shotgun, ammunition, nine replica firearms, one crossbow, several knives, two cell phones, and $1900 cash.  Two people, a 48 year old and 41 year old, have both been charged with Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking; Possession of a prohibited weapon;  Unsafe storage of a firearm ; Careless use of a firearm; and Possession of a weapon for dangerous purposes.
