Prince County Hospital in Summerside has declared an RSV outbreak on its Restorative Unit. Patients of the unit will be limited to one visitor at a time and all visitors are being asked to follow the current infection control measures — including wearing a mask.
The outbreak of respiratory illness at Maplewood Manor in Alberton has been declared over. Health PEI is thanking staff for their dedication in managing and limiting the outbreak within the facility.
Visitors to all Health PEI care facilities are reminded to stay away if they are feeling unwell.
