This past week, RCMP in PEI stopped three impaired drivers within a 24 hour period. One driver was stopped in Stanley Bridge for using a cell phone while driving. The stop led to the arrest of a 25-year-old man for impaired driving by drug. Then, a Queens District RCMP officer in Grand Tracadie responded to a tip from the public and arrested a 28-year-old woman for impaired driving by alcohol. The final incident was a traffic stop in Stratford, which resulted in the arrest of a 22-year-old man for impaired driving by alcohol.
