On Tuesday morning, Mi’kmaw leadership will present the Epekwitk Assembly of Councils 2025 Reconciliation Recognition Awards to this year’s recipients.
The Reconciliation Recognition Award was created five years ago to acknowledge and recognize the efforts of organizations, businesses and individuals who advance reconciliation initiatives in Epekwitk.
The award is handed out annually by PEI Mi’kmaw leadership during this, Indigenous Awareness Week.
