The City of Charlottetown is calling for a meeting with the P-E-I government about its emergency overnight shelter and community outreach centre.
Mayor Philip Brown says the city stands by its decision to deny a zoning amendment that would allow the facility to carry on operations.
Brown said as much in a letter last month to P-E-I Housing Minister Steven Myers.
But Myers says the mayor is being negative about a positive solution, and he doesn’t see what another meeting on the subject would accomplish.
