A 25 year old Charlottetown woman is facing charges after a report this week of a female shoplifter at the Charlottetown Mall
Police got a call Tuesday afternoon from a complainant that a woman had shoplifted from a store and when the employee tried to stop her, she pushed her way out and ran to the Mall exit door. Police say a good Samaritan tried to stop her but the woman ran into him and they both fell over. She got up and continued to run threatening the man as she ran away. The woman was found later near Buchanan Drive and arrested without incident. She is in custody charged with robbery, assault, theft under 5000 dollars and uttering threats.
