Setting Day for spring lobster fishing season

It’s Setting Day for the spring lobster season. The season opened as of 6am Friday with fishers heading out to set their traps in Lobster Fishing Area 26A1 along the southeastern coast in an area from Souris to Victoria, and in LFA 24 on the north shore from Tignish to East Point. The season will be open through June 25th.
