Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says the Island’s new chief justice will bring integrity and justice to her new role.
Trudeau appointed Tracey L. Clements as chief justice of the Supreme Court of Prince Edward Island yesterday.
She was born and raised in High Bank and received her law degree from the University of New Brunswick before joining the Stewart McKelvey law firm.
Clements practiced labour, employment and human rights law, and she also served as president of the board of directors of Sport PEI.
