An unscheduled hike in the price of gas which is going up by 4 cents a litre today.
IRAC says Hurricane Harvey has interrupted production which has caused the price to rise.
It will be 111.4 at most Island service stations for regular self serve.
There is no change in other fuel prices.
The next scheduled price adjustment is next Wednesday.
Gas is going as high as 123.9 in Halifax with the natoinal average at 118.9 per litre.
