Health PEI advises that the Emergency Department at Western Hospital closed early on Saturday (November 9) due to lack of staffing. The Emergency Department closed at 4 p.m.
The Emergency Department will be open for regular hours Sunday (November 10) from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
