Charlottetown police say a fire at an encampment, which was set up as part of a protest against changes to PEI’s immigration system, was accidental.
The Charlottetown Fire Department, with help from Charlottetown Police3, investigated the fire that was reported about 3am last Saturday. That investigation has now concluded with the determination it was accidental. No one was injured in the fire at the encampment on the property of St. Paul’s Church on Prince Street.
