It’s status quo Friday for gas prices on PEI. The Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission has announced there’s no change in the prices of regular or premium gasoline. The price of furnace oil decreased overnight by 2.0 cents per litre, while the price of diesel went down by 1.0 cent per litre. Propane price adjustments ranged from a decrease of 1.4 cents per litre to an increase of 3.0 cents per litre, depending on the dealer.
Including taxes, pump prices for regular self-serve gasoline range from 175.8 to 177.0 cents per litre. Diesel now costs you 181.2 to 182.4 cents per litre. The maximum price for furnace oil is 126.0 cents per litre.
Propane prices now range from 82.0 to 83.7 cents per litre.
