– The Prince Edward Island Regulatory and
Appeals Commission approved the following petroleum prices effective 12:01 a.m., Friday, March 22, 2024:
• The price of regular gasoline will increase by 5.0 cents per litre (cpl);
• The price of premium gasoline will increase by 5.0 cpl;
• The price of furnace oil will decrease by 2.0 cpl;
• The price of diesel will decrease by 3.0 cpl; and
• Propane prices will decrease by 4.1 cpl for Irving Energy Distribution and Marketing, by 2.3 cpl for
Superior Propane, by 1.8 cpl for Island Petroleum, by 3.0 cpl for Kenmac Energy Inc. and by 3.0 cpl
for Noonan Petroleum.
Including taxes, pump prices for regular unleaded gasoline at self-serve outlets will range from 170.3 to
171.5 cpl, prices for premium unleaded gasoline at self-serve outlets will range from 182.0 to 183.2 cpl and
prices for diesel will range from 191.9 to 193.1 cpl.
The maximum price for furnace oil is 141.8 cpl.
Propane prices will range from 86.2 to 89.0 cpl.
