The Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure was held Sunday at Confederation Landing Park in Charlottetown.
The Charlottetown event raised over $103-thousand.
Across the country, nearly 85,000 people participated in runs, raising an estimated $17 million to invest in ground-breaking breast cancer research, such as improving screening technology, developing new and targeted treatments, and discovering how to reduce the rate of recurrence.
