Strong winds Tuesday thwarted what was to be an historic day for Port Charlottetown.
It was, for the first time, to host four cruise ships in one day.
While the Pearl Mist, Seabourn Quest and Norwegian Dawn made stops in Charlottetown Harbour Tuesday, the winds prevented Holland America’s Veendam from making its planned visit.
In total, the four ships are carrying approximately 4,234 passengers and 1,097 crew.
