Live racing continues Saturday evening at 6 P.M. at Red Shores Charlottetown and Sunday afternoon at 1 P.M. at Red Shores Summerside featuring the Governor’s Plate eliminations.
PEI’s Zack MacEwen is going to be playing closer to home. MacEwen has signed a three year deal with the Ottawa Senators. MacEwen’s deal is reported to have an AAV of $775,000.
The UPEI Men’s Hockey Panthers have secured a commitment from rookie netminder Joe Ranger for the 2023–24 season. This year’s roster will feature three goaltenders, including Ranger. Ranger played in the OHL, three seasons with the Mississauga Steelheads before he was traded to the Sudbury Wolves.
