Monday is opening day for harness racing in Summerside with first post at 1.00
The Las Vegas Golden Knights came back twice to beat the Dallas Stars, 3-2 in overtime on a goal by Chandler Stephenson to take a 2-0 lead in the NHL Western Conference final. The Stars led 1-0 and 2-1 before Jonathan Marchessault tied the game with less than three minutes left in the third. The series moves to Dallas for Game 3 on Tuesday.
Florida is home to Carolina tonight in Game 3 of the Eastern final with the Panthers up 2-0.
The Quebec Remparts won the Quebec Major Junior Championship in a 5-4 comeback over the Mooseheads in Halifax in Game 6. Halifax led 4-3 with three minutes left before the Remparts staged the comeback. Pier Olivier Roy scored the winner with 59 seconds left.
The Miami Heat just a win away from going to the NBA finals. The Heat is up 3-0 in the Eastern Conference final after a 128-102 win over the Boston Celtics. Gabe Vincent had 29 points. Jayson Tatum led Boston with 14.
The Baltimore Orioles swept the slumping Toronto Blue Jays, 8-3 in 11 innings, handing the Jay their fourth straight loss at home. Reliever Yimi Garcia gave up five runs in the 11th. Cedric Mullins had five hits and drove in three. Baltimore is 2.5 back of the first place Tampa Rays in the AL East.
The Rays lost 6-4 to Milwaukee. Willy Adames, Rowdy Tellez and William Contreras all homered for the Brewers. Josh Lowe had a three run shot for the Rays.
The New York Yankees swept Cincinnati winning 4-1. Harrison Bader hit a two run homer and Gleyber Torres had a solo home run.
San Diego shutout Boston as former Red Sox pitcher Michael Wacha got the win. Matt Carpenter hit a two run homer.
Brooks Koepka won his 5th major and his third PGA championship with a final round 67, nine under par for the tournament. Viktor Hovland and Scottie Scheffler tied for second. Canadian Corey Connors tied for 12th.
