Health PEI says the Emergency Department at Kings County Memorial Hospital closed early on Tuesday at 4:00pm, and will again on Wednesday due to capacity issues caused by a COVID-19 outbreak within the Inpatient Unit.
Anyone with emergency medical needs should call 9-1-1.
