The Sherwood Metros beat the Kensington Vipers 4-2 last night in Game 2 of the Island Junior Hockey league Final to tie the series 1-1. Game 3 in the series will be played on Saturday at 7:30 at the Credit Union Centre in Kensington, followed by game 4 at Cody Banks Arena in Sherwood on Sunday at 3:30 pm.
The Summerside Western Capitals are down 3-1 in their Maritime Junior Hockey League first round playoff series against Campbellton, and need a win tonight in Game 5 to stay alive in the series. Gametime is 7.00pm tonight in Summerside.
