Former PEI Chief Coroner Dr. Charles Trainor has passed away. He would have turned 80 on February 24th.
He died on Sunday. He grew up in Montague before moving to Charlottetown where he opened a general practice in 1970. He retired from his practice in 2007. Dr. Trainor was appointed as a provincial coroner in 1994 and chief coroner until 2015.
Funeral this morning at the Belvedere Funeral Home at 11.00.
