Significant decreases again Friday in furnace oil and diesel prices on the Island. In its weekly scheduled review of fuel prices, the Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission approved a decrease of 12.0 cents per litre in furnace oil, while diesel prices went down 11.0 cents per litre. There’s no change in gasoline prices. Including taxes, pump prices for regular self-serve gas remain in the range of 179.6 to 180.8 cents per litre, and prices for diesel now range from 243.2 to 244.4 cents per litre. The maximum price for furnace oil is 187.5 cents per litre. Propane price adjustments range from no change to a decrease of 2.0 cents per litre.
