Impaired arrest follows collision in Summerside

A 49 year-old man was arrested for impaired driving Wednesday afternoon after a two vehicle crash on Water Street West near MacKenzie Drive in Summerside. Summerside Police responded to the call just after 5:00pm, and during the investigation it was determined that one of the drivers was showing signs of impairment.   The driver was arrested at the scene and later provided breath samples that were more than triple the legal limit. No one was injured in the collision.  The 49-year old man will soon be appearing in court to answer to impaired driving related charges.
