A 37-year old Charlottetown area woman is facing impaired driving and drug trafficking charges after being stopped by Summerside police just after 3 a.m. a week ago on September 3rd.
A vehicle was checked by police at a Water St. parking lot. The motor was running but the driver appeared to be unconscious and showing signs of impairment and was arrested. Cocaine was found in the vehicle.
The woman will appear in provincial court at a later date to answer to the charges.
