Kings District RCMP and PEI Conservation officers took part in snowmobile patrols last Friday and Saturday. These patrols will continue so long as there is adequate snow.
Patrols were out from Cardigan to Peakes on Friday where some snowmobilers for tested for impaired operation of an off road vehicle.
On Saturday, patrols were held between St. Peter and Souris Line Road where officers encountered 29 sleds and one all terrain vehicle. One ticket was issued to a driver who did not have a trail pass along with one warning for registration and another after a breathalyzer
