Holland College President Sandy MacDonald and Vice President Doug Currie met this week with L’nuey PEI Executive Director Jenene Wooldridge and Senior Negotiator Tracey Cutcliffe.
They met to discuss the Epekwitk Mi’kmaq Rights Initiative and to define the vision of reconciliation initiatives for Holland College as part of its Strategic Plan called “Shaping Futures.”
L’nuey is an organization from the Epekwitk Assembly of Councils that is an initiative focused on protecting and implementing the constitutionally entrenched rights of the PEI Mi’kmaq.
Holland College says it’s aiming to build a stronger relationship with L’nuey through reconciliation and rights initiatives.
