Stingray, the multi-media company that owns Ocean 100 and Hot 105.5, is doing its part to help kick-start the PEI and Canadian economies. The company has launched the Stingray Stimulus Plan, which will provide a minimum of $15-million in radio advertising grants to local businesses in markets across Canada. Here in PEI, we’re offering $350-thousand in radio advertising grants for Island businesses.
Ocean 100/Hot 105.5 General Manager Jennifer Evans says it’s free advertising, no strings attached, and it’s aimed at helping PEI businesses get back on their feet after these troubling times with COVID-19.
Scott Broderick, Senior Vice President of Revenue for Stingray Radio, says PEI will be one of the first markets to benefit from this program with the grants being made available in very short order.
PEI businesses interested in this free radio advertising can go to www.stingraystimulus.com and fill out the really easy application. A panel will review the applications, and the grants, which are a minimum of $1000, will be awarded as quickly as possible.
