Some city of Charlottetown residents are not too pleased about trucks loading gravel at the waterfront late at night.
Councillor Eddie Rice says some residents were bothered by the noise of trucks loading gravel in the middle of the night last Saturday.
The gravel is destined for new runway work at the Charlottetown Airport.
The work has begun around 4 a.m.
Rice will discuss the issue with city bylaw officer.
Mayor Clifford Lee says there is not much the City can do at this point.
A bed and breakfast is located next to where the gravel is being loaded.
