Most action in the Maritimes was postponed last night due to the stormy weather and power outages.
Among the casualties was the Island Storm game with Kitchener-Waterloo in NBL basketball which will be made up on Feb. 28th.

The Charlottetown Islanders will be hosting Acadie-Bathurst in the Q tonight at 7.30 at the Eastlink Centre.

The women’s Panthers are home to Dalhousie at 7.00 going for their 8th win in 14 games.

The Pownal Markhan Woodmillers Memorial Minor Hockey Tournament is on today with all games going as scheduled. There are 50 teams from all over the Maritimes competing from Novice to Midget.

The Buffalo Sabres ten game winning streak came to a halt as they lost 5-4 to Tampa Bay. Nikita Kucherov had a goal and assist for the Lightning.
Boston edged the New York Islanders, 2-1 in a shootout.
Ottawa blanked the Rangers, 3-0. Craig Anderson made 27 saves for the shutout. Drake Batherson and Matt Duchene both scored.
Winnipeg got by Chicago, 6-5. Patrik Laine got his NHL leading 20th and 21st goals.
Edmonton edged Los Angeles, 3-2.
Las Vegas over Vancouver, 4-3.
Arizona shutout Nashville, 3-0.
NBA
The Toronto Raptors stopped Golden State, 131-128 in overtime in the NBA.
NFL
Dallas surprised New Orleans, 13-10 in the NFL.
