The RCMP is investigating another copper wire theft from a Maritime Electric Substation.
It happened sometime between the October 14th and this past Saturday at the Dingwells Mills Substation.
Police say the thief removed the copper ground wire, which could have caused serious injuries for themselves or the workers checking on the substation.
It did result in a power outage for between 2,400 and 6,000 customers on Saturday afternoon. The financial cost to fix the damage is still unknown.
