Charlottetown Police responded to several impaired driving complaints over the holiday weekend and have laid two separate charges.
Early Saturday morning, at about 2:45am, they got a call of a possible impaired driver on University Avenue. The vehicle was located and police determined that the driver, a 20-year old Charlottetown man, was impaired. He ended up being charged.
On Saturday night, at about 6:45pm, a collision resulted in one of the drivers, an 80 year old Charlottetown man, being charged with impaired.
