Premier Wade MacLauchlan has sent his condolences to the City of Fredericton following the shooting deaths including two police officers.
Charlottetown Mayor Clifford Lee has also send a message of condolence to the victim’s families and the City.
Lee says he has reached out to Mayor O’Brien in Fredericton offering any assistance they may require.
RCMP are taking over the murder investigation and officers have been called in to help provide relief for the Fredericton police.
A book of condolences to remember the two police officers killed in the line of duty in Fredericton on Friday will be available to the public at Charlottetown City Hall beginning on Monday.

He says a lot of the Charlottetown police staff know members of the Fredericton Police Department so it has hit home very close.
