The Charlottetown Airport launched a new taxi program in early May, and the Airport Authority says it’s worked well so far.
Under the new program, the airport licenses individual drivers instead of licensing one primary taxi company like it did under the old system.
The idea was to increase the number of taxis waiting for passengers when a flight arrives.
Right now, 113 drivers are licensed to service the airport.
