In the Legislature Wednesday, the MacLauchlan Liberals raised concerns with the speaker about a line of questioning coming from MLA Bush Dumville.
Dumville, the independent MLA, is a former Liberal. In these opening days of the spring session, he’s questioned the Premier about strategy meetings with public accounts committee members, and allegedly influencing the committee members.
On Wednesday, Justice Minister Jordan Brown suggested to the Speaker that Dumville’s questions were about caucus meetings held “in camera,” basically meaning in secret. Therefore, Brown says, there’s a breach of privilege. Speaker Buck Watts said he would take the matters under advisement
