The P-E-I government has announced more than 6.65-million dollars in new bridge and road improvements .
The province’s second round of construction tenders was announced today and closes March 28th as part of a planned 42-million dollars in improvements to roads and bridges for the 2018-19 construction season.
The tenders are for 18 separate projects including the replacement of the Lorne Valley, McCannell Road, Duck Road and Hazel Green Road bridges.
The province says it’s spent more than 120 million dollars in capital road and bridge improvements since 2015, including the construction of nine roundabouts and construction or rehabilitation of 16 bridge structures.
