PEI’s Legislative Chamber in the Coles Building is now open for visitors through the summer.
It’s open from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Mondays to Friday, until September 1st.
Visitors can learn about the Assembly’s history, the importance of the various symbols and objects found within the Chamber, and the role the Assembly plays today in passing laws.
Of course, historically the Chamber has been located on the second floor of Province House, but was moved to the Coles Building in January 2015 as Province House undergoes conservation work.
