PEI RCMP conduct police operation in Peterville area

No details have been released yet by the RCMP regarding a police operation that was conducted Saturday in West Prince.  At about noon, RCMP closed off Harper Road (Route 158) in the Peterville area.  The Mounties asked the public to avoid the area to allow officers to conduct their work. Police did stress that there was no threat to public safety.  A couple hours later the road was re-opened as the police operation had concluded.
