Charlottetown Police, including the Street Crime Unit, have arrested and charged a 46-year-old man with possession for the purpose of trafficking. Officers responded to a report about two suspicious people on the Confederation Trail near Longworth Avenue. When they arrived on-scene, officers identified two people, including a 46-year-old man who was arrested due to an outstanding warrant. He was also charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking as officers seized quantities of fentanyl, cocaine, illicit pills, a cell phone and more than $2,700 in cash.
