August 12th set as date for by-elections in Districts 9 and 15

August 12th is when voters in District 9 Charlottetown—Hillsborough Park and District 15 Brackley—Hunter River will go to the polls.  Premier Rob Lantz announced that Cabinet passed an order in council Wednesday morning to allow Elections PEI to issue the writ of election for the two by-elections.  Friday, July 25th at 2:00pm is the deadline for candidate nominations.  Some of the parties have already declared their candidates.
