Summerside Police received a report late Saturday afternoon that two firearms were stolen from a shed on Highland Avenue. Police say the culprit(s) forced their way into the shed and then forced open a firearms safe once inside.
The missing firearms are described as a .22 caliber Ruger rifle with a wooden stock; and a black 20-gauge Mossburg Maverick 88 shotgun
Anyone with information regarding the theft or the current whereabouts of the firearms is urged to contact Summerside Police or Crime Stoppers.
