A dedicated left-turn lane is being added in Hampton for traffic accessing Redcliffe Road from Route 1 (the Trans-Canada Highway). Officials say the upgrade will improve traffic flow and safety on Route 1.
Construction got underway Friday and is expected to last about three weeks.
Delays can be expected as two-way, one-lane, stop-and-go traffic will be in effect.
