Teen driver charged with Flight from Police after incident Monday night in Kings County

A young driver is facing several charges after an incident Monday night in eastern PEI.  Shortly after 9:00pm, a Kings District RCMP officer tried to conduct a traffic stop — but the driver tried to get away, driving dangerously and by going through a farmer’s field, damaging the crop. The driver was later located and arrested at his home.  The teen has been charged with Mischief damage to property; Dangerous driving; and Flight from police.
