Gas prices decrease and diesel prices increase in PEI

The Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission has approved a decrease in gas prices and increase in diesel prices.  The price of regular gasoline decreased overnight by 1.5 cents per litre, while the price of premium gasoline went down by 1.0 cent per litre.  The price of diesel increased by 1.5 cents per litre.  There’s no change in the price of furnace oil.  Including taxes, pump prices for regular self serve gasoline now range from $1.45 to $1.46 per litre.  Diesel goes for $1.61 to $1.62 per litre.  The maximum price for furnace oil is $1.14 per litre.
