35-year old man facing several charges after break-in to Summerside business

Early Sunday morning, around 1:30 AM, Summerside Police responded to a report of a break-in in progress at a business on Water Street.  A staff member of the business store staff contacted police reporting that security video footage showed a masked individual on the property who forced entry into a warehouse. Responding officers arrived while the suspect was still on the scene. The suspect ran off and after a brief foot pursuit officers located and arrested the suspect.  The suspect, who is known to police, was found to be in violation of a court-ordered probation condition prohibiting him from attending the business that was broken into.  A 35-year old man is in custody and facing several charges.
